Club 57 releases official statement, debunks report that EFCC arrested their customers

Last Thursday, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) reportedly raided Club 57 in Lagos, arrested 12 suspected internet fraudsters and confiscated exotic cars.

However, the club has now released a statement reacting to the incident.

According to the management of the club, EFCC officials did not storm their club to arrest their customers, they were only stationed at a junction closeby and arrested persons of interest.
