Many feared dead as armed robbers storm Five banks in Kwara state | Photos

According to reports, at least four people were killed earlier today in Offa, Kwara state after gunmen stormed the area for a bank robbery operation. In the course of the operation, a security personnel was also shot dead.

The robbery was reported to have lasted for several hours as the robbers allegedly stormed 5 banks without any resistance from the police or the army in Kwara state.

The robbers who came with heavy weapons and dynamites which they used for the operation – carted away a huge amount of money and cars before escaping through Igosun route in the area, according to several online reports.

Several people have been reacting to the robbery attack on social media, read some below;

Oh my God it’s so touching,i cried.Obviously when the banks releases the CCTV footage they will be caught.I just hope they get instantaneous judgements or perhaps they are handed over to angry mobs to get lynched.

The unfortunate activities of armed robbers in this town has been too recurrent in this town that one would have expected special effort by the state police. Infact, as at my last check, banks practically close at about 12pm every Friday for some years now.

5banks at once. Na wa oom no security in Nigeria anymore

Only if you all know how many police and sars were killed you all won’t be here judging smh😠😤
