#BBNaija: Payporte CEO speaks on sex in the Big Brother house

Eyo Bassey, The cheif executive officer of e-commerce giant 'Payporte', who are also joint sponsors of the Big Brother Naija show has reacted to the eviction of BBNaija housemates, Teddy A and BamBam from the on-going reality show. Payporte is the official sponsor of Big Brother Naija 2018.

Teddy A was on Sunday evicted during the live show, few hours after his romantic partner, Bambam was evicted during their saturday party.

Eyo stated that housemates were warned that sex or nudity didn’t guarantee support from viewers.

Eyo wrote on Twitter:

”I hope everyone will understand and see clearly that ‘sex and nudity does not sell on #BBnaija. @payporte has maintained this position. Compared to last season when neither sex or nudity was televised we all can judge. I hope my fellow colleagues can get the message. #Bamteddy.

”I warned and they refused to listen. Sex doesn’t sell this @bigbrothernaija. we insisted on this last season and the show was clean and shattered all records. This weekend eviction is another pointer.”

Eyo Bassey, however, deleted his tweets and wrote;

I noticed my previous post was Largely mis-understood. lt may have Sounded offensive to some persons. Its retracted, deleted and taken down.
The primary message will be conveyed better.

This is the first time the Payporte exucutive will release a statement about the show to the public.
