#ReadwithBayode: Nigerian man reads aloud for 4 days, breaks Guinness World Record

At an event sponsored by GTBank and Lagos State Government in Commemoration of World Book Day held at GT You Read Library Centre Yaba Lagos, Mr. Olubayode Treasures Olawunmi became a Guinness World Record holder.

The Nigerian man who started his ‘Read Aloud Marathon’ attempt of 120 hours to break Guinness World Record earlier this week, achieved his dream earlier today and took to Twitter to share his excitement. He tweeted;

SO WHAT’S NEXT? “Every Finish Line is just the beginning of a new race!” #ReadWithBayode is now a movement! For the CULTURE; the reading culture. It has since morphed from achieving a feat to a full scale advocacy! PS: I am still READING; for the CULTURE! #YouRead#GWR

BRIGHT AND EARLY! See who couldn’t wait to see me this morning! The distinguished Special Adviser to the Governor of Lagos State on Education, Mr. Obafela Bank-Olemoh! He was joined by officials of the Lagos State Library Board. #ReadWithBayode
