10 Quick facts about Ghanaian singer, Ebony Reigns who died in horrific car crash

Musician Ebony Reigns has died at the age of 20 after her car reportedly collided with a bus in south western Ghana.

Below are 10 Quick facts about the Ghanaian singer, Ebony Reigns who died in an auto crash

1. Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng, known by the stage name Ebony, was a Ghanaian dancehall/Afrobeats artist widely known for her hit songs "Poison" and "Kupe".

2. Born in 16 February 1997,  in Dansoman, a suburb of Accra, Ghana

3. She didnt complete her high school, dropped out in pursuit of her music career.

4. She was discovered by Bullet, a member of Ruff n Smooth fame, when she sent a recording of her voice and was signed to his Rufftown record label just a day after listening to the recording.

5. Ebony came out with her first single, "Dancefloor", in December 2015 with a video and audio release

6. The song became a hit on radio landing her nomination for the unsung category at the 2016 Ghana Music Awards.

7. In March 2016 Ebony released her major hit single "Kupe", which is a household anthem in Ghana and some other African countries.

8. In April 2017, Reigns was arrested for "indecent exposure" while exposing her breast while wearing a mini-skirt at a passport office in Accra as she attempted to travel to Tokyo for her concert.

9. Reigns was killed in a car crash on 8 February 2018 while returning from Sunyani to Accra after a visit.

10. On the 16 of February, she would have turned 21
