‘They Want Me to Remain a Stripper’- American rapper, Cardi B Slams Fans, says they are scared to show her love

American music star, Cardi B has never been one to shy away from speaking her mind, and she thinks any retelling of her history is an attempt to undermine her present success.

Last night, an Instagrammer shared a photo from when Cardi was a stripper, and this upset the rapper because she clapped back at him immediately, saying:

The rapper who has broken a 19-year record began stripping at the age of 19 after she got fired from a job as a cashier. At first, she worked at local strip clubs, working her way up to some top clubs in Manhattan, New York.

And that was how her glow up started.

Cardi moved from stripping to becoming an Instagram celebrity to hosting small club events, before getting into a reality TV show. Gradually, she began a career in the rap industry. People did not take her seriously, until her song Bodak Yellow began to dominate the airwaves, and soon earned a spot on the Billboard Hot 100 Charts.

This October, Cardi broke a 19-year record and now is one of the most successful female rapper’s of her time. However, she gets irked when folks post photos from her past, because shortly after the man shared her photo from her stripper days, she went on her page to allege that some people want her to remain a stripper.

“I got up on my shit and now they scared to show me love, hey rather see me on the pole twerking it for Dubbs,” she said, stirring mixed reactions on her page.
